Undergraduate Minor Requirements

Students who intend to minor in Women's Studies should declare their intent with the Program Director at least two semesters before graduation.  If the student is an Arts & Sciences major, after completing 90 semester hours they must declare their minor with Arts & Sciences (Longmire 10). Students must have at least a "C-" average in the minor and complete an exit interview before graduating.

Additional Requirements

  • Complete a total of 15 hours composed of the courses above with a C- or better
  • No 2000-level courses will count toward the minor
  • Only one approved course from the student’s major program of study will count toward the minor and only if the course has not been used for credit toward the major
  • Courses used to fulfill the liberal studies requirements will not count toward the minor
  • To be eligible for graduation, each minor must complete an exit interview or survey
