Student Opportunities

 

  Women's Studies in Europe Explore and examine feminist theory in practice across Europe during the Fall Term (through Antioch College).  

 

Take courses in Socio-Political Systems and Women's Lives.  Study issues in Feminist Methodologies, Comparative Feminist Theories, and Independent Field Research.  The objectives are to explore trends and dynamics of the European social, economic, and political systems as they influence contemporary gender theory, policy and conditions of women's lives.  Students will stay at hostels, hotels and homestays through out Europe.  A total of sixteen semester credits will be awarded by Antioch College for successful completion of this program.  The program is open to students who have completed two years of academic study in good standing.  All majors are welcome. A minimum of one women's studies course is required.
