ECABA

Mission Statement

Our mission is to promote the ethical, humane, and effective application of behavior principles by disseminating relevant information to the community and providing opportunities for continuing education to professionals, parents, and others interested in using behavior analysis.

The Emerald Coast Association for Behavior Analysis (ECABA), a chapter of the Florida Association of Behavior Analysis (FABA), is located in beautiful Panama City, Florida. ECABA was founded in January 2001 to promote the ethical, humane, and effective application of behavior principles in all segments of society including education, business, industry, and government.

ECABA's primary goals are to promote the profession of Behavior Analysis in the community and provide the best in continuing education and training to its members.

ECABA is housed in the Psychology department at Florida State University-Panama City (FSU-PC) and closely associated with their Applied Behavior Analysis Master's of Science degree in Psychology.

One of ECABA's greatest assets is its diversity among chapter members. Its membership includes behavior analysts, behavior program supervisors, mental health professionals, university faculty, students, administrators, teachers, social workers, and direct care professionals.
